Photos of the Different Stages of a Yorkshire Terriers Growth

Posted on May 25, 2010

Mrs. Beasley shortly after bringing her home.  We started off right by having breakfast.  She so enjoys her morning cup of coffee.  At this time she only weighed 2.5 lbs.  She was cute and cuddly.

At this stage Bea was about 6 months old and was in a bit of a gawky stage.  We called her Samurai Bea cause her little top knot was short and stubby.  Kind of like she was.

When Bea was just about a year old, she got her first professional hair cut.  She looked really cute.

Bea is almost two years old in this picture and you can see how much her color has changed.  She also had her first experience with snow when we visited Colorado.

This is Bea today.  She is almost two and a half years old, and her color has changed quite dramatically.  I never thought she was going to be so silver, but I like her color very much.

The color of a Yorkshire Terrier can change quite a bit from the time they are born.  Most Yorkies look like Bea did when they are very young.  My neighbors have Yorkies and they have retained their dark coloring.
